Payments on Finleycrest are processed by PCI DSS–compliant payment service providers. PCI DSS (Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard) is a set of security standards designed to protect cardholder data and reduce payment fraud. Our e-commerce platform and payment gateways apply technical and organisational measures required by PCI DSS.

  • Additional safeguards like 3D Secure/3DS2, AVS, and CVV checks may be used by our payment providers to help verify your identity and reduce fraud.

5) Authorisation, Verification & Fraud Prevention

  • All transactions are subject to authorisation by your card issuer or wallet provider.
  • We may perform order verification (e.g., confirming billing/shipping details) before dispatch. If we cannot verify an order, we may place it on hold or cancel it and issue a refund.
  • Suspicious or high-risk orders may be declined at our discretion to protect customers and our store.

6) Prices, Currency & Taxes

  • Prices are displayed in the currency shown at checkout (typically GBP for UK orders). Any applicable taxes and shipping fees (if any) are shown before you confirm payment.
  • Your bank or payment provider may apply foreign exchange rates, fees, or holds if your account is in a different currency. Please contact your provider for details.

7) Billing Descriptor

Your statement may show a descriptor such as “FINLEYCREST” (or similar) for your purchase. If you’re unsure about a charge, please contact us first—most issues can be resolved quickly.

8) Refunds & Chargebacks

  • Refunds are issued to the original payment method once approved. Processing times vary by provider (typically 2–10 business days after we issue the refund).
